Voice Acting

As a small hobby, I enjoy doing voice impressions of characters in media that I've watched. Some of these characters may include Bill Cipher, Soos (Gravity Falls), King, Hooty (The Owl House), Heavy (TF2), etc.

I'm not the most experience in voice acting, but I've found a few resources to be helpful.

StageMilk has been a useful resource for me, especially the articulation exercises. In fact, doing these exercises for voice acting has improved my clarity in my normal speech!

Generally, I like to "act along" with recordings from YouTube. I think one of the best ways to get better at voice acting is to just try to do voice impressions and match existing voice actors. During one of the Malarkey Jeargon meetings at my school, I had practiced along with a YouTube video of all the voice lines from the Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, and some of my peers complimented me on my voice!

I also have a few voice acting books on my reading list.
